Our wines are a liquid metaphor for the Medici bloodline – an act of homage we describe as ‘Vin–eage’
In honouring the wines with the noble name of the Medici, we have carefully selected leading political and cultural luminaries from the Medici history to be paired with each of our wines.
Our single varietal Pinot Nero wines celebrate leading red-blooded Medici male figures, while our white wines, Rosato and future Metodo Classico sparkling wines honour some of the bold Medici women.
This is further depicted in original illustrations, each featuring an emblematic symbol that memorialises their distinctive contribution to the Medici story and their personal relationship with Cafaggiolo Terre Dei Medici.
